The Murray Symphony will present “March Madness”, a concert featuring Invanov’s “Caucasian Sketches” and marches by Prokofief, Wagner, John Williams and Sousa! With guest artists Murray High School Orchestra and Percussion Ensemble. March 9, 2013, 7:30 PM, at the Murray High School Auditorium (5440 South State Street, Murray). Come enjoy marches from all styles and eras in this delightful performance. Tickets at the door, $6 general admission, children under 10 free.
The Murray Symphony is grateful to all attendees and musicians who participated at the last concert on Saturday, December 8, 2012. We collected 744 pounds of non-perishable food items which were donated to the Utah Food Bank. This is a record breaking donation! The concert had almost 600 attendees and 200 musicians on stage on a magnificent celebration of the season. Thank you everyone!
On December 8th, Murray Symphony will join with Utah County’s Mapleton Chorale for a special evening of Christmas music. The hundred-member Mapleton Chorale is one of Utah’s finest choirs, having performed throughout Utah and the United States, including Lincoln Center in Washington D.C. Don’t miss this outstanding collaboration! The concert will be held at Murray High School,5440 South State Street at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
