The concert will celebrate the life of Maestro Frohm, who lead Murray Symphony for 20 years and was a Music Educator and Granite School District Music Curriculum Specialist for many years.  After a 15-month battle with cancer, Clint Frohm passed away on October 22, 2010.  He was both a mentor and leader to the Murray Symphony and a dear friend to many orchestra members with whom he shared his love of music for years.

Clint Frohm was a professional musician for over 45 years.  He played with many major musical organizations including the Utah Symphony, the Pioneer Memorial Theater Orchestra, and the Capitol Theater Orchestra.  He was a sideman with Elvis Presley, Engelbrecht Humperdink, Bob Hope, the Mills Brothers, 4 Tops, Lou Rawls, Peggy Lee, Marty Robbins, Bill Watrous, Phil Woods, Louie Bellson, Clark Terry, Melissa Manchester, Bobby Goldborough and participated in many recording sessions.  Mr. Frohm was a member of the Top Brass Quintet, Gabriel Trumpet Ensemble and the Young Audiences Brass Quintet.  He was the Coordinator and Conductor of the Granite Youth Symphony and taught as a Music Educator for over 35 years at Granite High School, Cottonwood High School, UVSC, Westminster College and the University of Utah.  He dedicated the last 20 years to the Murray Symphony Orchestra as its Music Director.

Clint Frohm believed that music in the life of children would give them perspective for a lifetime. We believe that his dedication to music brought perspective to the life of many.  He made a significant impact in the lives of numerous people and will never be forgotten.  We invite the community to come celebrate his life and pay a tribute to this incredible man.
